kBox
Deadlift
The kBox deadlift and the eccentric retraction feeling is completely different compared to traditional free weights. The kBox are used for effective deadlift exercises by a wide range of clients independent of technique skills.
The possibility to limit the depth of the exercise ensures safety. Since you don’t lift any weights you can always stop pulling if you feel pain without having to drop the weights on the floor. When doing a kBox deadlift, we recommend an extended range of motion in the top position. This will allow you to regain the momentum in the eccentric phase even better.
Variations
The variations are performed with one or two feet, using the kBar or kGrips with single or dual-hand. The versatility makes it easy to shift focus from heavy on the hamstring and hip extension to core muscles or make you go from a heavy and powerful drill into a complex more technically demanding drill, all depending on your aim.
Regular Deadlift:
Performed with kBar.
Romanian Deadlift:
Performed with either kBar or kGrips.
Sumo Deadlift:
Performed with kBar or kGrips.
Single-Leg RDL:
Performed with kBar or kGrips.
This one -or two arm exercise targets glutes, hamstrings and lower back. The kBox single leg RDL is used in rehabilitation for increased posterior chain strength, improved balance and activation of hip flexors. In strength and performance applications, the single-leg RDL has proven to decrease the number of tendon ruptures.
Deadlift to High Pull:
Performed with kBar or kGrips.
