Exxentric has partnered with Flex so that qualified customers can use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on our site. As a follow-up for your records, Flex will email you a Letter of Medical Necessity and an itemized receipt within 24 hours of purchase. Keep these documents should your HSA/FSA provider or the IRS require additional documentation.
If you don’t have your HSA/ FSA debit card information, follow the steps above but input your regular credit or debit card information. Flex will then email you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement. For more information, see FAQs below.
Equipment. For your prescribed program.
All Exxentric training equipment and nearly 100% of Exxentric products are HSA/FSA eligible.
The exclusions only concern flywheel bags, cover mats, phone/tablet stands, utility bags and all merchandise.
Frequent questions. About HSA/FSA.
No. Eligibility for dual-purpose equipment depends on the customer’s qualifying condition and medical purpose. Purchasing equipment does not establish eligibility. HSA/FSA eligibility requires a brief telehealth consultation through Flex. Eligibility is determined per customer; not all customers qualify, and FSA eligibility may vary by employer plan.
An LMN documents why a product is medically necessary for a qualifying condition. Flex’s telehealth consultation assesses whether you qualify; receiving an LMN is not automatic.
HSA/FSA funds can only be used for eligible expenses for you, your spouse, or eligible dependents. They cannot be used for gifts to other people.
No but all Exxentric training equipment and nearly 100% of Exxentric products are HSA/FSA eligible. The exclusions only concern flywheel bags, cover mats, phone/tablet stands, utility bags and all merchandise. Qualifying customers may be able to use their HSA/FSA on everything else. FSA eligibility may vary by employer plan.
Talk to an Exxentric Flywheel Expert about equipment selection. For eligibility and plan coverage, follow the Flex consultation and your plan’s requirements.
If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.
HSA/FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.
Sales tax for eligible items is also covered by HSA/FSA funds. If the customer has a split cart, the tax will be divided among the cards based on the items.
In order to qualify to use your HSA or FSA card for Exxentric equipment, the IRS requires you to have a Letter of Medical Necessity. Exxentric has partnered with Flex to enable asynchronous telehealth visits as part of our checkout. Within 24 hours of your purchase, Flex will email you both an itemized receipt.
You should keep it on file for at least three years in the event of an IRS audit of your HSA or FSA account. Occasionally, FSAs may ask for the Letter to confirm the eligibility of your purchase.
