Calf Raise
The kBox calf raises will benefit performance athletes seeking to improve their strength and powerful movement for their sports, and for general fitness since improved calf strength builds a foundation for stability in the hamstring, glutes and quadriceps muscles. A calf raise is also a great tool in rehabilitation where the exercise can be limited to fit the specific patients purpose it is also independent of technical skills and works for patients with injuries in the upper limbs.
Variations
The kBox offers a few variations of calf raise: the most common are performed simply by standing on the kBox or using the Decline board to improve the range or for support. The Decline board can be used two ways offering both heel support and a full range of motion movement. Calf raise variations can be performed using a kBar, kGrips or wearing the hip belt or harness for even more ergonomic conformability and stability.
