Lateral Squat

The lateral squat is an exercise unique to the kBox. Thanks to the stable foot block, users can target the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes in a safe way and with the possibility to heavier loads than if the same exercise was to be made independent of equipment.

Variations

 

The lateral squat is used by athletes seeking enhanced performance to improve the change of direction movements in their sport and preventing ACL injury. Lateral squat on the kBox enables clients independent of technique skills, even with acute or chronic injuries or deficits in the upper limbs, to a great lower body workout or for ACL-rehab post-surgery. For optimal performance, the lateral squat should be performed with the foot block, floor attachment and the harness or hip belt.

Regular Lateral Squat:

Performed using Harness or Hip belt, make sure the kBox is fixed to the floor with a Floor attachment
