Baseball

The popularity of the kBox and the kPulley among coaches who strive to develop baseball players’ strength is growing and they are already being used by several Major League Baseball.
With flywheel training provided from the kBox and the kPulley, coaches get the tools for both general and sport-specific drills to target starting power, sprint speed, core strength, and shoulder health.
Usage
In baseball, the kBox and the kPulley are mainly used for lower limb strengthening and shoulder health, which can often be combined. The ‘single arm lunge row‘ is an excellent drill for engaging the muscles responsible for throwing, in addition to the many traditional lower body exercises such as squats, lunges, lateral squats, and split squats. Useful upper body exercises provided by the kPulley, besides the aforementioned rows, include pulls and shoulder press exercises among other general movements.
Benefits
With access to the kBox and the kPulley, after only a short familiarization period users can achieve a robust stimulus regardless of training age. Being able to work around injuries to arms, elbows, and shoulders by using the harness during your leg training is also a major benefit.
More specifically the Exxentric Harness reduces a lot of the torque and stress on the lower back and unloads the extremities in the upper body. Easy and safe to perform and monitor with the kMeter in a team setting. The kBox’s portability has made it a favorite for many coaches in Pro sports since they can easily carry it with them throughout the duration of the competitive season.
