Swimming

The kBox and the kPulley target many important aspects of developing elite swimmers’ strength and are already used by Olympic level swimmers on several continents.
With flywheel training on the kBox and the kPulley coaches get the tools for both general and sport-specific drills for swimmers as well as for post-activation potentiation before races.
Usage
Developing athletes use the kBox and the kPulley in a more general way to get stronger in both compound movements and isolation drills. From high-end swimmers, we see examples of sport-specific strength development.
Post-activation potentiation before a race can give swimmers a huge benefit with a 35% faster start as shown in a flywheel training study.
Benefits
The versatility and efficacy of the kBox and the kPulley are the key reasons why swimmers choose to incorporate flywheel training into their programming.
Swimming is heavy on the volume side, spending a lot of time in the water. By being able to practically build a gym by the pool using the kBox new possibilities open up in the programming. On a high level, there are also traveling a significant amount of time, and being able to bring the gym with you is beneficial.
Also, the kBox can be an ideal and powerful tool for post-activation potentiation, just before a world championship race.
