The Joint Instability Symposium at Ohio State University

We are proud to be an event partner of The Joint Instability Symposium. The symposium focuses on effects of joint instability and rehab training. Join the symposium on the 9th and 10th of May 2025 at the great campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH 🚀

The symposium is designed for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of sports rehabilitation and joint stability/instability. With a particular focus on cutting-edge practices and interdisciplinary approaches. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to network with leading figures in the field, exchange ideas, and explore new trends in joint stability and instability as it relates to rehab in sports. This event promises to be an incredible experience, bringing together 4 world-class panels from around the globe, with renowned experts in the field

Set against the backdrop of the iconic Ohio State University campus in Columbus, this is not just a symposium but a pivotal gathering for anyone committed to setting new standards in sports rehabilitation.

Event  Agenda:

The Joint Instability Symposium 

Date: Friday, May 9th
Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The first day kicks of the symposium with a welcome and introduction by Matt Bobman and John DeWitt, followed by panel and roundtable discussions as well as lectures on Patellofemoral instability, Kinesophobia, and Hip instability. Which then will be followed by a networking event to close the first day.

Lab-Based Adjunct: The Unstable Joint – Hands-on Rehab Labs and Surgical Demonstration

Date: Saturday, May 10th
Time: 08:00 am – 5:00 pm

During the second day attendees will the start the morning with surgical demonstrations. Open discussions with our expert surgeons during and after the procedure. Demonstrations will take place in the state-of-the-art Surgical Skills Lab. The afternoon will be active and attendees will learn from three expert clinicians about rehabbing tactical athletes, end-stage return to sport decision making and the overhead athlete.
