Video – high speed squats

kBox is for both heavy resistance training and hypertrophy but also nice for faster power training. Here is the track and field athlete Daniele Cardinale doing high speed squats with unilateral exxentric overload. Compared to power squats with a low loaded barbell you have shorter time between concentric reps since you don’t lift as much from the floor.  This is thanks to the variable resistance which increase effectiveness and also lower risk of injury when landing.
