kBox

High Pull

The kBox high pull works deltoids, trapezius and arms in the regular setting and most of your upper body and core with the variations in the overload set. The high pull on the kBox can either be done as a full body workout or movement specific. Thanks to the flywheel technology, high pull exercises can be done effectively by a wide range of clients independent of technical skills or strength.

Variations

The user can focus on limit the amount of loading on the legs and pull from the waist and upward, preferably with kGrips or a kBar. To achieve a more compound exercise, the user can drive more speed from the legs to generate more force in the exercise making it more challenging.

Regular high pull:

Performed using the kBar or kGrips.

Instead of letting the movement stop at the hip, you can follow the retraction into a deadlift and do a deadlift to generate more force into the high pull. A great drill to increase the eccentric load in the high pull. Try this variation here.

Single Arm High Pull:

Performed using one kGrip.
