The Foot Block is often used to limit the angle of the ankle when doing lateral squats, placing the resting foot on the leaning side of the Foot Block. Due to the glute-activation achieved from this drill, this accessory is very popular among our customers heavily focused performance and change of direction ability in particular.
Other uses of the Foot Block include it as an option for heel support for squats, as well as to elevate the foot for calf press exercises. Moreover, we have noticed Foot Blocks used in pairs as stance limiters, when a specific (e.g. squat) width is necessary.

Foot Blocks with Platform Extension functionality can be used to lengthen the width of your kBox Platform by 5 cm (2″) in each direction as demonstrated here. This feature is available for the latest generation of kBox platforms and as well as the Legacy counterparts for the Lite & Active models (with minimal dimensional discrepancies for the Legacy kBox4 Lite).
