Looking forward to a stronger 2021, Exxentric CEO, Fredrik Correa expresses his thoughts on the year we are leaving behind and his optimistic view on a much stronger year to come.
What a year!
Few would have been able to predict the enormous change that would dramatically affect the lives of each one of us. Could we possibly long for a new beginning more? 2020 has been challenging in so many ways: lockdowns, restrictions, social distancing, and, for many, also much less training and exercising.
This year, we witnessed many professional athletes being kept from competitions, sporting events, and playing in the sports they love, thus kindling a sense of loss and resentment. Quarantine and lockdowns lead many of us, as well as athletes, professional trainers, etc. into several physical and psychological repercussions. At the same time, leagues and pro sports have been faced with an interesting season where, although so many events have had to be canceled, the hunger for sports has never been bigger. And the need for strength training for athletes grows bigger than ever to prepare for top performance and avoid injuries.
